The function of the Office of Professional Licensure (OPL) is to assist educator candidate(s) and alumni in working your way through the process with Colorado and other states. Whether a current or former student, here you will find all the forms and instructions that you will need to obtain the approvals you need to apply for your credentials with the Department of Education

Checkpoints are requirements necessary to be able to progress through the teacher education program at UNC:

Once you have completed your program at UNC you will need to assemble some documents to be able to apply for your license from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE):
